epeaswitzerland supports MIGROS in creating transparency
Migros, the largest retailer in Switzerland, has a large part of its non-food range checked for suitability for the circular economy. The Migros M-Check 5-Sterne pre-evaluation - carried out by epeaswitzerland - also makes it clear which suppliers can improve their products with regard to the circular economy.
Migros is thus intensifying its commitment to the circular economy by also involving its supplier network and subjecting products such as textiles or household items to a preliminary assessment. epeaswitzerland, an accredited assessor for Cradle to Cradle Certified® certifications from Bäch, carries out this pre-evaluation for Migros in two dimensions: recyclable ingredients and environmentally friendly ingredients.
Migros will not only recommend that suppliers strive for Cradle to Cradle Certified® certification and implement appropriate measures towards a circular economy. It will also actively support and accompany them in this process.
